2024 SOLHEIM CUP VOLUNTEER

Our Foundation will be manning one of the concession stands at the 2024 Solheim Cup! We invite you to volunteer on our team as it will generate funds for a capital campaign to install a Pump Track at the Rollins Ford Park! The Solheim Cup is the most prestigious team event in women’s golf, showcasing the finest talent from Europe and the USA. The event will take place from September 10-September 15 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

Volunteers work one shift per day and before or after your shift you are allowed to walk the grounds at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club during the event. Volunteers will help staff a concession stand with tasks that include cashiering, grilling, and serving customers. It’s the perfect combination, you get to help raise funds for a soon to be awesome pump track and experience a world class golf tournament right here in Prince William County.

VOLUNTEER FAQS

Adults 18 or older. Minors 14 and older may volunteer if accompanied by a parent or guardian. We must limit minors to 25% of volunteer staff at any given time; we will monitor during sign-ups.

Volunteers must be able to walk long distances and stand on their feet for long periods of time.

Volunteer Tasks include cashiering, grilling, and serving customers. Minors are not allowed to be cashiers, stock beer, sell beer or open beer.

Volunteers work in a variety of shifts from early am to early evening.  We will not be breaking up the shifts; you must be able to work the entire shift you sign up for.

You will note that the shifts overlap to allow for continuous service during training and hand-offs.  It is possible to work both 1st & 3rd shifts in one day…but, it would be a very long day! Here are the available shifts:

The arrival time is 45 minutes prior to your shift start time. You should arrive at the parking area (Jiffy Lube Live: 7800 Cellar Door Dr. Bristow, VA 20136) 45 minutes prior to the beginning of your shift. Shuttle buses will transport volunteers from Jiffy Lube Live to the golf course drop off area. From there you will walk to our pavilion. If you have a way of being dropped off at the golf course entrance, that is fine…but, be at the pavilion at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your shift.
